‘The Uncanny Counter’ to be renewed for season 2

Our favorite squad seem to be returning, with new recruits!

The psychics who battle demons return on television. The drama ‘The Uncanny Counter’ has begun season 2 preparations by casting important parts.

According to media outlets on June 27, it is known that the previous work’s principal characters, such as Jo Byung Gyu, who portrays ‘So Mun,’ a high school student with supernatural powers, Yoo Jun Sang, Kim Sejeong, and Yeom Hye Ran, would also participate in the next season. Following Season 1, they want to engage in a variety of activities as a “counter” against demonic spirits.

Meanwhile, the drama was regarded as a unique ‘Korean hero drama,’ and it was extremely successful. As a result, the production team, led by producer Yoo Seon Dong, opted early on to expand the drama to a season structure. The production crew is working hard to find a demon to play the key character in the narrative.

However, the filming date has been pushed out to the end of this year. This is due to the fact that Jo Byung Gyu and Kim Sejeong are now filming dramas.
