The first look at Seo In Guk’s new character from KBS2’s forthcoming Monday-Tuesday drama “Minamdang” (romanized title) has been released!
“Minamdang,” based on the popular web novel of the same name, is a comedy-mystery about Nam Han Joon, a baksumuduang (male shaman) who used to be a profiler. He meets Han Jae Hee (Oh Yeon Seo), a violent crimes section detective who is obsessed with justice. Nam Han Joo, has incredible wealth and a silver tongue.
Nam Han Joo’s piercing glance reveals his former career as a profiler. The released still captures him emanating a frigid environment as he appears to be lost deep in thought when grasping knots used in a Gut (a ritual carried out by Korean shamans). Seo In Guk will portray each as a talented profiler with keen analytical skills as well as a sneaky shaman.
“Seo In Guk is fulfilling the attractive character of Nam Han Joon while being highly in sync [with his character] and demonstrating different chemistry,” the PD team said.
KBS2’s “Minamdang” will air in June taking over the time slot of “Bloody Heart.”
