Oh Jung Se recently kept his promise to a “It’s Okay to Not Be Okay” fan!
Oh Jung Se appeared as Moon Sang Tae, a character with autism spectrum disorder, in tvN’s “It’s Okay to Not Be Okay” during the summer of 2020. (ASD). During the duration of the drama, Oh Jung Se learned that cellist Bae Beom Joon, who also has a developmental impairment, was moved by his character and wanted to meet Sang Tae. As a result, Oh Jung Se channeled his character when he met Bae Beom Joon and took him to an amusement park.
Oh Jung Se attended the 57th Baeksang Arts Awards in May 2021, where he received Best Supporting Actor for his performance in “It’s Okay to Not Be Okay.” During his award speech, the actor highlighted COVID-19’s hardships, saying, “It feels like we’re all walking a very long stove league together.” However, a new season is about to begin. Let’s go to the amusement park again when the new season starts, Beom Joon.”
Oh Jung Se fulfilled his promise and reunited with Bae Beom Joon earlier this week. The cellist captioned a photo of the couple holding hands at an amusement park, “‘Beom June, let’s head to the amusement park.” Hyung and Beom June finally met in the amusement park.
