Lee Da Hee and Choi Siwon confirmed to star in ENA’s upcoming rom-com drama

Lee Da Hee and Choi Siwon from Super Junior will star in the new drama “Icy Cold Romance.”

The real survival romance of Goo Yeo Reum and Park Jae Hoon, who have been close friends for 20 years, they begin to experience romantic feelings for each other after unexpectedly meeting as a reality dating show producing director (PD) and the program’s cast member, is the subject of ENA’s upcoming Wednesday-Thursday drama “Icy Cold Romance.” The drama will be written by “Heading to the Ground” playwright Kim Sol Ji and directed by PD Choi Gyu Shik of “Drinking Solo” and “Hush.”

Lee Da Hee will play variety show PD Goo Yeo Reum, who has been a PD for ten years and is currently desperate in both work and love. Goo Yeo Reum faces the issue of whatever program she gets her hands on being canceled, so she begins working even harder after taking over the insane reality dating show “Kingdom of Love.” Lee Da Hee previously dazzled in “Search: WWW” and “Beauty Inside.”

Choi Siwon will play Park Jae Hoon, a nearly unemployed neighborhood guy who works as a plastic surgeon on the side for a living but has lost interest in both love and work. Park Jae Hoon, a neighborhood friend who lives on different floors of the same house, agrees to star in “Kingdom of Love” to support his friend Goo Yeo Reum and makes a life-changing decision. Following his recent makeover in “Work Later, Drink Now,” people are looking forward to Choi Siwon’s upcoming drama role.

“Lee Da Hee and Choi Siwon, who have good acting talents and splendid visuals, are exhibiting exceptional and passionate acting performances as they transition into Goo Yeo Reum and Park Jae Hoon,” the production team said. Please keep an eye out for the new romance drama that will engross viewers this winter of 2022.”

Following the completion of “Good Job,” “Icy Cold Romance” will premiere in October.
