The Korean version of “Money Heist,” which Netflix is working on, has been revealed.
Netflix Korea published a trailer for the original drama “Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area” (hence referred to as Money Heist) on its official YouTube channel on May 20th.
The Korea Media Rating Board stated that “Money Heist,” “is a seasonal drama about a hostage crisis situation set in the Korean Peninsula, including a genius strategist and people with varied personalities and abilities.”
They explained, “In episodes 1-6, elements of violence and murder, such as scenes of attempted murder, are depicted concretely and consistently. Sexual expressions and abusive language are repeatedly used. The expressions of smoking and drinking are also continuous, and sexual behaviors are directly expressed.”
Furthermore, “The series’ theme, sexuality, violence, lines and drug items are continuously and concretely expressed, so it is inappropriate for teenagers to watch. It was rated as not available for teenagers since it could cause a harmful effect.”
“Money Heist” will be released on June 24th.
