The director of Netflix’s original ‘The Sound of Magic,’ Kim Seong Yoon, extended his gratitude to singer IU.
Director Kim Seong Yoon remarked on the 9th, according to Celeb Media, “We used the song ‘Knees’ for the concluding scene and inserted Lee Ji Eun, IU’s true name, in the credits. But, in order to do so, we must first obtain the copyright to worldwide release ‘Knees’ in the drama. So I called her, but she responded, ‘I wrote and composed the music myself, so feel free to use it.’ I was overjoyed. We met while working on ‘Dream High.'”
The song “Knees” is the song that represents IU, chosen by the singer herself. In her past concert, she said, “When I die – when I die of old age – the songs I want to be remembered as ‘IU’s representative songs’ are ‘Heart’, ‘Knees’, and ‘Night Letter’.”
Meanwhile, IU’s movie ‘The Broker’ will be released on June 8th. The movie ‘The Broker’ tells the narrative of persons involved with the baby box, which is a safe box meant for people who are unable to raise children to leave their newborns anonymously.
