Han Ji won and Jung Hae In in talks to co-star in a new drama

A broadcasting official stated that Ha Ji Won had been offered the part of Se Yeon, the female protagonist in KBS 2TV’s new drama “Trees Dies On Their Feet.” It was reported that Son Ye Jin of ‘Crash Landing on You’ and ‘Thirty Nine’ was previously considered for the part, but it appears that Ha Ji Won will be the eventual female protagonist for the new KBS2TV slice of life drama.

“Trees Die on Their Feet” is a film about an elderly woman from North Korea who is nearing the end of her life and a stage actor who pretends to be her grandson in order to grant her ultimate wish.

Youn Yuh Jung confirmed to play Ja Geum Soon was born in North Korea in 1930. During the Korean War, she flees to South Korea, leaving her husband and child behind. She establishes Hotel Nakwon, a hotel chain in South Korea while waiting for her family.

Kang Ha Neul will play Yoo Jae Heon, an optimistic figure who receives an unexpected request from an elderly gentleman to pretend as someone’s grandson.

Furthermore, Jung Hae In will join the cast of KBS2’s “Trees Die on Their   Feet,” according to Sports Chosun (literal title).

“Jung Hae In has gotten an offer to star in KBS2’s upcoming drama ‘Trees Die on Their Feet,’ but nothing has been determined yet,” a source from Jun Hae In’s agency FNC Entertainment said in response to the story.

Jung Hae In talks to play Bae Dong Jae, the heir to the Samwoo chaebol organization, which runs a retail chain. With his superb features and demeanor, he exudes an aristocratic atmosphere in everything he does. Bae Dong Jae may hear that he is impolite, but he will never hear that his statements do not make sense since he backs up his words with strong logic and conviction. Even if he appears unlikeable, he is the type of person who can’t help but be noticed.

“Trees Die on Their Feet” is expected to start filming after the core cast is   set.
