“From Now on, Showtime” and “The Sound of Magic” drops trailers and is set to premiere

Let the magic begin!!!

As Kdramas gradually embrace all kinds of genres, from horror to fantasy, like “Tale of the Nine-Tailed ” to “Legend of the Blue Sea,” it’s only natural that the next stop would be magic. Despite the fact that there are numerous types of magical dramas, these are the first magic plays in 2022. This time, it’s not just one, but two magical masterpieces. One from MBC’s stable that will grace our small screens: “From Now on, Showtime!” starring Jung Joon-ho, Park Hae-jin, and Jin Ki-joo.

The series is a romantic comedy about Cha Cha-woong (Park Hae-jin), a magician and ghost employer, and Go Seul-hae (Jin Ki-joo), a passionate but hot-blooded female police officer with supernatural abilities. They both work together with ghosts to solve cases with hidden clues. This drama is directed by Lee Hyeong-min and Jeong Sang-hee.

“From Now, on Showtime!” is set to air on April 23.

Next up in line is “The Sound of Magic”

As a high school girl who has been forced to grow up too soon stumbles onto an abandoned amusement park, she rediscovers her inner kid when her life is once more filled with the wonders of magic.

The fantasy music Netflix series stars Ji Chang-wook (Lovestrucl in the city), Choi Sung-eun (Beyond Evil), and Hwang In-youp (True Beauty). it is written and directed by Kim Min Jeong and Kim Seong-yoon. The musical director of “Itaewon class” has stated that they worked together on this project.

It is scheduled to be released on May 6.
