Tang Wei will make her debut appearance in a Korean film after 11 years with director Park Chan- wook’s “Decisionto Leave.”
The film “Decision to Leave,” directed by Park Chan-wook, is about a detective who is investigating an accident in the mountains and meets the deceased victim’s widow (Tang Wei), who makes him suspicious and interested.
Tang Wei, has established herself as a world-class actress capable of expressing complicated and dense emotions in films such as Ang Lee’s “Lust, Caution,” Kim Tae-“Late yong’s Autumn,” and the Venice Film Festival’s closing film “The Golden Era,” will make her first appearance in a Korean film in 11 years.

“I’ve always wanted to work with actress Tang Wei,” director Park Chan-wook said. “I believe Tang Wei’s portrayal of the self-assured Seo-rae will be persuasive to many viewers,” he remarked of Tang Wei, expressing his confidence that she will captivate the audience with a charm that no one else can match.
On June 29th, the film will be released.
