Cha Eun Woo of ASTRO may also appear in the forthcoming film “K-Pop: Lost in America”!
According to industry insiders, Cha Eun Woo is in discussions to play the lead in the next Hollywood movie, according to StarNews on July 1. Yoon Je Kyun will direct the project, which will be co-directed by producer Linda Obst and CJ ENM’s Lee Mi Kyung. Deadline, news sources also claim that Rebel Wilson and Charles Melton had been cast in the project.
The film, which was announced last year for a 2023 release, would depict the story of a K-pop boy trio that becomes stuck in Texas just days before their global debut tour goes off at New York’s Madison Square Garden. With no phones, money, or transportation, the band must face a slew of “crazy challenges” in order to make it to New York City in time for their premiere.
