Actor Jung Jun-ho is playing the role of a father in this coming movie ‘The Fisherman,’ which will be released on the 11th of May. He plays Captain Jong-beom on the Busan coast, striving to raise his youngest child.
Jung Jun-ho had an online interview ahead of the premiere of his film ‘The Fisherman’ on March 6th in which he described the film as “a story about a dad struggling to raise a little child in a movie.” “The reality I experienced, I got married late and had chidren late,” he explained, “but there were many sections in the play where I could relate to Lee Jong-life beom’s and his true existence.”
“So, I think that realism was seeping out as I was acting more,” he concluded. The term “fisherman” may be unusual today, but it was a word that mothers and grandparents used to use when rearing their children or grandchildren.” “Because my parents were farmers, I labored by stacking them on sackcloth,” he added. It’s a film that everyone in the family can enjoy.”
He is currently starring in MBC’s drama series “From Now on Showtime”
