 One of the most fulfilling and healing features of a K-drama is witnessing a group of friends who are prepared to go the extra mile to be there for one another. It’s encouraging and inspiring, and we can’t wait to discover a team like it.

This series depicts a group of five doctors who have known each other since medical school. They are all employed at the same hospital, Yulje Medical Center. The plot revolves around their friendship, romance, and patients they encounter on a daily basis.

Five childhood buddies who grew together in the same neighborhood- Sangmundong; maintain an unshakable relationship. They crash at each other’s houses, watch movies, and share meals. While this squad is not immune to petty squabbles, they always look out for one another in times of carrying out mischief and difficulty.

Despite their disparate skill sets, experiences, and personalities three men team together to create the Waikiki Guesthouse in the hopes of raising funds for their upcoming film’s production costs. Because this delightfully mismatched group seems to have no idea how to run their own business, their wacky antics and ridiculous pranks will have you in stitches in no time.

Call it Girl Power or whatever you want. “Work Later, Drink Now” is a funny story about three singles females getting together to unwind after a long day at work. It is really realistic for the adults in the house because it shows just the way most people unwind after a stressful day.  The three leading females are all dealing with different pressures and difficulties, but they are able to draw on and look to each other for support. It is so well-liked by the audience that there has been an announcement for season 2.

5. Sassy, Go Go

This throwback series is set inside the confines of a hostile and competitive high school setting where success is measured purely by scores.  Fortunately, because of the wonderful affection and solidarity that develops among its students, the students of Sevit High School establish a cheerleading team and are able to weather the institution’s ludicrousness together.
